We are running an event on Saturday the 30 August (again at Nether Pollock) It will involve the same 3 skills bases and an age group race afterwards – it will be the 1st round of a small race series that we have agreed to run with 3 other clubs.

Combined Skills Dirt Crit 30th August 2014
To make our event a bit different we will run it as a “Combined MTB Skills” event. This means that before the XC race each rider will take part in a skills demonstration.

The idea behind these events is that points accrued in the skills section lead to some kind of advantage or handicap in the race section.
There will be 3 skills courses to allow the difficulty to be tailored to the relevant age groups.
Likewise the XC race course will have more difficult extensions for the older age groups.
