In a slight break from tradition we combined the Family Day to Great Cumbrae with the inaugral Scavenger Hunt (the Gowk Hunt – named after the Gowk Stone on the West Caost of Cumbrae and an article Pete found on Wikipedia.)
Congratualtions to Team Aloe Vera for their win with fantastic ingenuity (borrowing scales in a nearby shop to complete one of the challenges!).
Honourable mention to Team “The Queenz Are Always Late” for sheer cunning, let down only by an inability to read the instructions…
