Isle of Man International Youth Tour General Classification Winner and Points Comp Winner.

WoSCA sends its congratulations to Glasgow Riderz Ellie Park who has just won the International Isle Of man Youth Tour .
The 3 day multi stage race on the island is part of the British Youth Circuit series and attracted a record number of entries this year with over 350 riders taking the ferry across.
Starting on the Friday night on Douglas promenade with a prologue time trial, the race quickly heads to the hills with stage 2 in Marown before heading to Ramsay for the final stage on the Sunday.
A steady start on the prologue saw Ellie lying 3rd overall. The Queen stage 2 proved to be a significant challenge with plenty of time gaps appearing, Park managed one place better on this stage despite a mechanical issue. The final stage was where the tour was won and lost by some, taking full advantage was Ellie where she started the stage in the green jersey of the points classification, but she managed to pull a time gap out which gave her the overall lead too.
The Isle of Man tour previous winners include Ben Swift and Peter Kennaugh.
